Melanie is a trusted mindfulness and meditation practitioner, presenter, and motivational expert.
Melanie is passionate about helping individuals and organizations catalyze focus, refine goals, and build resilience.
Her work has been described as intentional, engaging, authentic, and warm, and clients have praised her ability to explain complex topics in a clear and digestible way.
With her Master’s in Psychology from Columbia University, she is committed to offering a reliable yet unique path forward by working from a strengths-based approach, remaining dedicated to evidence-based techniques, and honoring the traditions of practice.
Melanie’s research and academic interests include the relationship between psychological, physiological, and spiritual health. She trained in the Spirituality, Mind, Body Institute and was a colleague in the Spirituality and Psychology Research Lab at Teachers College, Columbia University. Additionally, Melanie was the Lab Manager for the Imagination and Cognition Lab in the Department of Psychology at The University of Texas at Austin.
She has studied at the Center for Mindful Self-Compassion and is a certified mindfulness meditation teacher. Melanie regularly sits with leading mindfulness and meditation teachers from around the globe, including at residential Vipassana retreats.
