Arriving here.
“Each of us literally chooses, by the way of attending to things, what sort of universe he shall appear to himself to inhabit.”
– William James
While journeying through a life-changing diagnosis, I found that discomfort can serve as a gateway to equanimity and prosperity through mind, body, and spiritual engagement. Meditation was a path to remember myself in a way I hadn’t realized I’d forgotten.
Rather than solely serving as a refuge away from my challenges, meditation allowed me to bravely accept my circumstances with kindness and compassion and to choose to participate in my experiences with openness and curiosity.
Today, meditation and mindful living are integral to shaping how I see, respond to, and interact with the world. The wisdom from these centuries-old traditions has equipped me to simultaneously experience pain with joy and uncertainty with contentment.
It is an honor to guide and practice alongside others on their path to deeper self-exploration as they learn to embrace life with greater ease and understanding.
